I am certainly not the first to embody such enthusiasm over these two very popular books, but nonetheless I thought I'd share. Eu não sou certamente o primeiro a incorporar tal entusiasmo ao longo destes dois livros muito populares, mas mesmo assim eu pensei que eu iria partilhar.
This month I've read a couple of fantastic books! Este mês eu li alguns livros fantásticos! While taking the reader on two completely different journeys, both novels describe very specific periods of time, resulting in tremendous loss. Apesar de levar o leitor a duas viagens completamente diferentes, ambos os romances descrevem períodos muito específico de tempo, resultando em perda tremenda. However, the life experience and growth of the storyteller throughout the course of both books left me feeling transformed, and resolved. No entanto, a experiência de vida e crescimento do narrador ao longo do curso de ambos os livros me deixou sentindo transformados, e resolvido. Both were very enlightening. Ambos foram muito esclarecedoras. I felt like I was witnessing the tragedy that Ishmael described, and learning the beauty of forgiveness in the most potent form, as I turned the pages. Patti Smith escreve como se fosse manteiga. Each page is so rich and creamy. Cada página é tão rica e cremosa. I don't know which I enjoyed more, her style of writing or the story itself. Eu não sei o que eu gostei mais, seu estilo de escrita ou a história em si.
I'm sure there are others out there who could give a more formal review, but I wanted to at least give a book recommendation (or two). Eu tenho certeza que existem outras pessoas lá fora que poderia dar uma opinião mais formal, mas eu queria pelo menos dar uma recomendação de livro (ou dois).
